I stayed at Abigail’s Hotel during my visit to Victoria, and it was an amazing experience. I’ve stayed in many places, but this one truly stood out. The customer service was excellent (10/10), and the complimentary breakfast was delicious and a definite highlight of my stay. The staff were very friendly and professional, and I loved how well everything was taken care of. I stayed for two nights, and the room was restocked the next day at no extra charge. The room felt luxurious, and the atmosphere was cozy, calm, and relaxing. This will be my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Victoria again. I’ll definitely be recommending it to family and friends!

I recently moved back to the island and decided I wanted to go to Victoria for my birthday. My mom got me a room at Abigail's Hotel and I was super excited. Upon arrival the gentleman at the desk informed us our room had been upgraded!! Wow, what a great start to our stay!! We got to our room and it was absolutely gorgeous, with a sitting area by an electric fireplace, and a large bathroom with a jet tub and walk in shower. We had planned to go out and do a few things that night but plans changed, I was in for the night! The tub was to die for. The complimentary bath salts were an added bonus. (Pssst, the lotion is really nice and I highly suggest using it if you can!!) The shower was also lovely and I felt so relaxed afterwards. The bed was comfy and large. The pillows were so soft and dream like. I was in heaven. Then suddenly my husband bolted to the bathroom. He was sicker than I had ever seen him, but there was nothing I could do for him so I snuggled in and enjoyed my cookies and chocolate covered strawberries. (The strawberries you add on extra but the cookies were a gift, and they were delicious!!!) In the morning I called to let them know that we wouldn't be down for breakfast since my husband was still ill. Instead they worked to bring breakfast up to our room. My husband couldn't eat it but I could, and it was phenomenal!! Overall this was a very happy birthday despite a sick husband, and it's all because of the fantastic staff at Abigail's Hotel! Our anniversary is in September and I'm confident we'll be back for a another stay.

An amazing stay at Abigail’s. Location is great, close enough to walk yet tucked away in a very quiet neighbourhood. The breakfasts are delicious, lots of choice and can be made to order from the rotating menu. The staff team at Abigail’s are exceptional. Would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I visited Abigail's for our anniversary and had a spectacular time. The staff are all lovely, the (included!) breakfast has a variety of options to pick from and all were delicious, and the hotel itself is equipped with everything you need. It is a very walkable area in general, but it's not hard at all to get from Abigail's into the city. I wish our trip had been longer! If we visit again, we will absolutely be staying here!

TLDR: Romantic, charming, and delightful! Based on the reviews, I was very excited to stay at Abigail's and it did not disappoint! The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was very large, the jetted tub was phenomenal (we looked into how much they cost), and the three-course breakfast was delicious. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown and Beacon Hill park. Even though we had a car, we did much exploring on foot while we were there. The whole vibe was romantic and made for a wonderful couple's getaway. We also appreciated they had an EV car charger on site.

Stayed here for 3 nights on our first trip to Victoria and loved it! The staff were friendly and thorough, with great recommendations for food. Our room was clean and comfortable, the sheets are amazing! And the location was perfect to get to everything we wanted in the city. Thanks for a great first trip

Truly a gem. The property has a classic, timeless charm that’s hard to find these days. I loved all the traditional touches — the Tiffany-style lampshade in the game room, the white lace window shade in my room, etc. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I arrived early and left my luggage with them; when I returned later, everything had already been placed in my room. The afternoon soup was amazing—honestly better than all the soups I’ve had at restaurants in the area. Breakfast was also pretty good: made to order, hot, and fresh. Michael, who works in the dining room, was so kind and friendly. I was traveling solo, and he offered to take photos for me and chatted with me to keep me accompanied. I visited during the off-peak season and paid just over $100 for the night—such incredible value for the experience. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful hotel that we will never forget. We stayed here for 11 night when we first came to Victoria in February of 2026. It has an old-school charm with a very British feel. There is tea and soup that serve every day at 4:30 and it's lovely. The beds are extremely comfortable. The staff is delightful.
